Photo/Text/Graphic Design Collage: Last Week Contacts

As I approached the last week that I'd ever wear contact lenses, I decided to mark the occasion by photographing my eyes each day. This led to many close ups, and an opportunity to incorporate text into my imagery, which is something I've been working with lately. These are the project guidelines: 1. All content (photos, writing, and Photoshop work) must be created within the day. No archived work. 2. Both eyes must be included in each piece. Other than that, the possibilities were unrestricted! And, as you'll see, the results became quite varied and unexpected. (ps: my eyes have healed amazingly)

Day 1

Day 2.
accomplishing multiple things with this series: honesty, text, mirroring.

Day 3.
Scary ominous left eye.
A texture day.

Day 4 and I'm thinking about my years in Manchester.
I love how bloodshot my right eye is!!
Text got really subdued today, the texture of my skin beat it out of first place.

Day 5

Day 7
as the last contacts are removed, the phoenix is released, arisen, burning bright
