This is the 2nd in a planned series of photoshoots to promote East Side Yoga, an independent yoga studio in Vancouver BC Canada. During this session, we improved on quite a few things, such as more balanced light, a better rapport with the yogis, encouraging them to really express themselves, and not be afraid to smile(!). Also, we mixed up the blocks of shoots, starting with group activity, then breaking into individual sessions. I believe everyone had a blast, and I am quite happy with the results. Some additional work was done on the yogis' skin, giving slight improvement overall. This was a request from ESY's owner after the first session. I have enjoyed building on my post-production skills, and I believe it really helps in photos such as these: that slight bit of skin improvement makes for more approachable, more irresistible photos, which is the intention of these promotional photos. Another progression: I slightly reduced the size of my Format No Auto watermark to reduce interference or distraction from the photos. I'm looking forward to session #3!
